The Group Chat, But Make It Miles

And here’s why…

  • Encouragement + motivation

    • Hard workouts. Long runs. Easy runs. It just feels better when you have company. There’s always a constant force with you believing that you can.

  • Explore new places (with good conversation)

    • Who doesn’t love to get lost on a good dirt road or trail together with like-minded people? Talk about a good story and a fun day to feel free. Adulting is hard, so find people where it can be fun!

  • Keep the joy

    • Sports are hard, but finding your people to help keep the sport light and rewarding is simply the best.

  • Find your people.

    • It’s your tribe. People who get it. People who believe and encourage you. People who challenge you.

It’s not to feel intimidated — it’s to feel motivated, inspired and find your people. When you have those special relationships, it makes life easier, more fun and exciting. You find people who get it, who will nerd out with you, who will uplift you when you hit even the smallest goal you’ve been aiming for.

Yeah it’s cool to run alone sometimes, but run with people. It may just bring you to new relationships, a new love of the sport, and a new love for yourself.

And who knows…you might just be signing up for races together and planning run vacations!
